On the morning of August 17, the 2023 World Furniture Federation Annual Meeting and World Furniture Industry Cluster Conference was grandly held in Dongguan. Chairman Xu Xiangnan delivered a keynote speech entitled "Unity Promotes Cooperation, and Together We Create the Future". He pointed out that the world is recovering in an all-round way, the changes of the times are accelerating, and the furniture industry has formed an industrial pattern of deep international cooperation and extensive regional coordination. In the future, the world's competition will evolve from competition between enterprises, industries, and industrial chains to competition between industrial clusters and industrial ecology. Industrial agglomeration is the only way for the structural adjustment and transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry. With the support of members from various countries, the China Furniture Association has initiated the Dongguan World-Class Furniture Industry Cluster Project in China to create the world's "industrial manufacturing" capital, "cluster demonstration" capital, "exhibition trade" capital, "smart management" capital, "design innovation" capital, and "cross-border e-commerce" capital, and to build an international public platform for promoting cross-border cooperation and sharing industrial resources. The World Furniture Federation will also support the cluster construction of various countries based on its international network, with its huge industrial scale, perfect innovation capabilities and open ecological model, promote the combination of developed manufacturing and emerging manufacturing, and promote the global furniture industry to enter the ranks of advanced manufacturing, so that all countries can truly enjoy the inclusive results brought by globalization.
